Greetings Neighbors,
As Sunday’s Feast approaches, we have some important information and requests for you to read:
The Feast will be alcohol-free, so please leave beverages at home.
Please arrive as close to 3:30 as you are able to so that we can get started on time. Some parking may be out on the road if the field is soggy.
We will be able to host the Feast in the rain, as we have tripled the Barn floor space compared to last year. Everyone will fit inside. Bring a jacket and a sweater for the walk from the parking area.
We could use a couple more able-bodied folks to help with parking and escorting elders down to the barn. If you are willing to arrive 20 min early to help with parking please reply to this email: sandrivercommunityfarm@gmail.com.
If you’d like to brush up on the songs that we will sing together before dinner, you can find them here: Fiddler’s Green and Hal and Tow.
We are excited to welcome Paul Rosenberg and his band who will be making the trip up from Albany to christen the newly-renovated Barn for our first dance.
The Gratitude Feast is offered as a gift to anyone who is hungry for any reason.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the Farm. There’s a whole lot to be grateful for.
With care,
Adam and the whole Sand River Community Farm family.
Best wishes Adam & the entire Sand River Community Farm Family for a wonder-filled Barn Christening Feast this Sunday!!
